I LOVED this Book! It was so Frustrating! What was Wrong with Lindsay that if her sister had her own company, she should have gone there First! Of course, then she would Never would have met Michael, Zane, or Ace. She made So Many Stupid Mistakes! But she was So Honest. Wish I was that Honest. The men were So Mean to her. Mr. Ice was so insulting. Michael had his assistant telling her what to do and wear. Zane would not leave her alone. Ace was so Demanding and Insecure. And ALL were so Lovable! WOW!!! Need the ICE WATER!!! The Series is SEXY!! And HOT!! Could Not Put It Down!! Had to Read it All The Way Through!! Well I am Retired! So It only took me four (4) days to read. I did not do anything else!! Could Not Put it Down! Oops - said that already! Did not like the Villain But it was good to see his back story. Still no excuse to become so Bad. To be so mean. I love the Epilogue. It was good to see the character's life story and how they moved on. It is also Amazing how Unconditional Love can Save the Day - - no Matter What! Love it - when that Happens!! Thank you Ms. Bennett! I have already downloaded the other Free books you have out there. Only time will tell if I download the rest of them. I probably will. Especially if/when they will probably as good as this Series was. So HOT!! So Many Twists and Turns! So Amazing! Thanks!Product details

Got the first book free. I have not read any books by this writer. Started reading it and of course had to buy the rest of the books. I just ended getting the box set. I have to say well written what caught my attention was the story line. Can not wait to read the pursuit box set. If you haven't read this box set it is worth it. Caught me from the start to the finish. Happy readings
I only gave this 2 stars because the first book was very enjoyable (and hot). Once I started reading the subsequent books, they just went to a very dark and abusive place. I don't find forced sex of any kind sexy- it wasn't a "game" they were playing. Add to that the physical abuse and implausible plot line- just not worth the money. I returned it. I love suspense and I don't have issues with "dark" characters but the abusive nature and the impression that nothing was done just left a bad taste in my mouth. I am not a prude by any means (as evidenced by what's on my kindle) but even the supposed hot sex just kept getting more abusive, manipulative and painful. It made what should have been some very steamy scenes not sexy at all.
Seriously you'll be saying WTF! at the end of each of these books. I don't know how Lindsay makes it out sane after all the drama unfolds in this book. You are on high suspense of every Hawkin's related character in this book. As soon as you think you can trust Zane he goes and does something stupid rediculous. Then you think you got Ace's number and he completely blows my mind in Part 4. Completely all of Part 4 is mind blowing! Even the freaking Epilogue had me still cursing!
All the way through the sex is super HOT!🔥 in these books! Freaking amazing plot and storyline! The suspense and drama increases throughout the books. Never a dull moment in these stories! Liv Bennett is awesome!👏
I had read "Zane" previously and really enjoyed it - so I thought it would be great to know the back story. Wrong. This is the worst series I've ever read, it's almost like it was written by a totally different author. The plot synopsis was intriguing - but the synopsis was the best part of all, it goes down hill from there. The plot is never developed, the story is so shallow and unbelievable that it's amazing it ever got published. The author tries to pull in so many twists and turns that you begin to roll your eyes. The only reason I finished it was to attempt to understand Zane's back story - but it wasn't worth my time.
The Good Different and interesting story line. An h with a backbone who is not scared to slap someone when the occasion calls for it. Lots of character complexity. Good addition of mystery and suspense. STEAMY sex with non-cheesy descriptions.
Reasons to downgrade rating The female h was a little too sexually active for my taste. The male H was weaker than I like to see them. The story line of the club is really a stretch. Michael's behavior and response to what he views as being the "problem" don't really make sense.
It's not often you come across a storyline that can have this level of erotica but still maintain a good plot that is really suspenseful. This was a branch off from her other series with the main characters Taylor and Adam. This series is about Taylor's younger sister Lindsay and occurs after the events from the previous series. I had not read the Taylor and Adam series so it took a little work to catch up but I was pretty straight on what had happened and what was going on by the third/fourth chapter. Would recommend reading the Taylor series first though as this was sooo good si I'd assume the other series would be of an equal caliber but much of the suspense in the previous series would be ruined if you read this first. Lindsay is trying to find a job that will hire her and make it on her own after becoming infamous for a murder she committed out of self defense and also having a sexual harassment lawsuit from her last company. To say the least it's hard for her to find a company that will hire her. In comes the ever charming Michael who hires her to portray as his girlfriend as he doesn't want the public to know he's gay. Then she meets his sons who hate one another, Ace and Zane... They find Lindsay to be the forbidden fruit that is irresistible. Add in blue collar crime, child abuse, murder, treason, prostitution and terrorist acts and you have this series. It's a fast paced, high action read with plenty of erotica that will keep you in a hot sweat. Highly recommend adding this author to your read list but be smarter than me and start with the Taylor/Adam series.
